The ventilation holes serve both as a decorative detail and provide optimal airflow. The inner lining has Coolmax® technology that wicks away the moisture keeping you cool and comfortable. The lining is removable and can be easily washed clean with lukewarm water.
Pardus has a slim fit that is best suited to people with oval shaped heads. You can adjust the size with a screw function at the rear of the helmet. This means that you get an optimal fit for your particular head. If you choose between two sizes, choose the size larger.
Manufacturers recommend replacing every 5 years but helmets just have to comply with Australian standards. The years that are associated with applicable standards are not the year of manufacture for that helmet, but the year the helmet standard was released, superseding the previous standard. MIPS is an additional liner that is incorporated inside the riding helmet. This low-friction layer enables your head to move 10-15mm in all directions, which has been proven to reduce the rotational movement to the brain and therefore injury (particularly concussion and traumatic brain injury).
